Livestock Genetics Export Programs

The New Mexico Department of Agriculture Livestock Genetics Export Program provides support to livestock producers throughout the state with export opportunities. With a renewed membership to the United States Livestock Genetics Export (USLGE), NMDA is once again re-establishing and developing relationships for export opportunities in Mexico. NMDA participates in numerous domestic and international events.  Some events include the Houston Livestock Show International Room, Confederacion Nacional Ganadera (CNG), and ExpoGans. By having an international presence, staff serves as a point of contact for Mexican producers looking for New Mexican livestock genetics. NMDA is also creating opportunities by conducting inbound missions, outbound missions, and trade show participation. If you are interested in participating in Inbound Missions, Outbound Missions, or Trade Shows contact Juan Sanchez for more information.
